Air Traffic Controller Strike in Portugal
Expect airport delays flying into, within and out of Lisbon including flight delays to Europe. “ANA Aeroportos de Portugal informs all its passengers and other airport users that a strike has been called by air traffic control (NAV, EPE) for May 17, 18, 24 and 25, between 06h00/08h00 , 13h00/15h00 and 20h00/22h00 affecting all air traffic. ANA recommends that all passengers confirm their flights with the airline company, its local representative or travel agent before making their way to the airport.”
TAP Airline and EasyJet have cancelled over 153 flights for May 17-18. No inbound or outbound flights to the United States have been cancelled, although travel to/from major European cities could be delayed or cancelled.
