Flights were canceled at Paris’ two main airports after French air traffic controllers began a five-day strike over job security on February 23rd. Half of the flights in and out of Orly airport and one in four from Charles de Gaulle were canceled.

Pilots at a major German airline voted on February 17th to hold a four-day strike next week to protest wage deals and proposed plans to shift jobs to lower-paying subsidiaries.
