If you are a US Citizen traveling to Canada to see the 2010 Winter Olympics, then please remember to bring proper ID to enter and exit the US. The US Department of Homeland Security and US Department of State require one of the following identification cards to cross the border:
Passports: First-time passports cost $100 for applicants 16 or older, and $85 for children.

Changes to a customer’s itinerary must be made by midnight of the original travel date, and rescheduled travel could cost more for the itinerary or other terms of the booking change.
The Midwest fee waivers apply to travel to, from and through Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
The Southeast waivers apply to travel in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee....

On a recent trip over the holidays, the international airline I was flying changed my ticket without notifying me which caused me to miss my ongoing connections back to the US. Coupled with the trying to rebook my tickets on one of the busiest travel days and heightend airport security, it took an additional 2 days before I returned home.
What can you do? Periodically check your international tickets...
