HTH News Alert: Airport workers arrested for stealing travelers’ goods in the Netherlands
Dutch military police have arrested nine airport workers at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport suspected of stealing objects from passengers’ luggage, media sources reported on January 22nd. Surveillance cameras showed the suspects rummaging through the travelers’ suitcases, apparently searching for electronic gadgets, clothing, money, and jewelry. Police caught the thieves using specially prepared decoy suitcases, and have not ruled out further arrests.
